Ski Card - Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge

The card is 10"x7" folded to 5"x7" and was made using my favorite Cricut cartridge, Everyday Paper Dolls .  Each layer (green, brown and blue snowflakes) is 1/4" smaller than the one behind it, starting at 5"x7". The girl, dressed to go skiing, is cut at 3 3/4".  She is wearing a pink scarf, hat, glasses, snow suit and mittens with a green shirt and brown boots cut at 3 3/4".  These items were cut from pages 36-37 on the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge. The ribbon is pink with brown dots from the Ribbon Boutique #330985. The "Let's go skiing" embellishment is from page 42 and is hanwritten since this cartridge has no fonts and cut at 3" and 3 1/4" for the shadow effect. I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder, Oriental Weave, for the snow. Diamond Stickles is used on the background and snow, for a little glitter. The optional color I used is blue.

I made this card for the MyPinkStamper Design Team entry.  MPS is picking two more people for her Design Team.  For complete details go to

Robyn, from MPS has the following challenge on her blog:

"Challenge:  Make a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project with your favorite cartridge using my favorite colors......

(other optional color of your choice)"
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at midnight.  MPS will be announcing the two people whom will be on her Design Team on Friday, January 7, 2011.  If you love scrapbooking, card making and/or crafts and have a Cricut or Imagine and a blog, join in on the fun and maybe you will be one of the two people she picks to be on her Design Team, but you need to hurry.
Good Luck Everyone!!
Wish me Luck too!!!
